ReactJS Architect

The Role

Design and implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications for our enterprise clients using the React open-source library ecosystem, including Flux / Redux. Work with the Business Analysis, UX, and Backend teams to devise a scalable, secure, and robust architecture for your applications. The ability to go above and beyond client expectations to deliver sophisticated, high-quality end-products is critical.

What we expect from you

Build pixel-perfect UIs across mobile and web platforms using ReactJS (and possibly, ReactNative)

Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with backend systems and microservices architecture patterns

Diagnose and fix bugs and optimize apps for performance.

Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React moves fast and often breaks things.

Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Write scalable, portable code that can adapt to a variety of form factors.

Have in-depth knowledge of security protocols and be able to secure web and mobile apps from malware and hacking attempts

What you'll be doing at MilliPixels

Discover and analyze customers' business and technical needs in association with our Business Analysis and User Experience teams

Map the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure a successful outcome

Develop, test, and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes

Identify system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies and balance competing functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance requirements.

Review and approve project design & code deliverables

Collaborate with the Sales team in responding to RFP/RFI as and when needed.

Improve operational efficiencies through system automation and AI

Guide, motivate, and mentor a team. Grooming future solution architects for taking up React assignments

Skills & Experience:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles

Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

Knowledge of Isomorphic React is a plus

Expertise with RESTful APIs and Microservices interactions is a definite requirement

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and models

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Familiarity with code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
