QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products that put our customers’ experience at the centre of everything we do. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute test plans across web and mobile platforms. • Test Design & Planning: Collaborate with QA team members to design detailed test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing to identify issues in functionality, usability, and performance.
• Defect Management: Document, track, and follow up on software defects, participating in triage sessions to ensure timely resolutions.
• Automation Development: Independently develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts across multiple frameworks.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to improve testing processes and product quality.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised documentation of test cases, results, and defects for transparency and traceability.
• Continuous Learning: Engage in mentorship opportunities and stay current with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Performance & Accessibility Testing: Develop and execute performance and accessibility tests to ensure compliance with quality and user standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Cypress, Node.js, Swift, Java, or Kotlin.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience with performance testing (load, stress, scalability).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis, or Drone CI.
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
